Beo likes to try and trade his food dish with whatever you're eating. And with Sam, he likes to act like he's not paying attention while a wandering paw is creeping towards the food to gently bat it his way enough that he can snatch and run.

Ah. A variation on the "I licked it, do you still want it?" with the huge innocent eyes... ~_~;;;

When Pendragon got big enough, he would walk up to the table and clunk his head down on the top with a huge sigh, and then roll his eyes to watch you eat. And drool on the table. >.< But he never got close enough to try for anything, and I never managed to get him to stop staring at every forkful. *sigh* I miss that flaky dog.

*smirks* We don't have chairs for my dining table, so we usually eat on the couch. He quickly mastered the "paw for attention, while wagging tail, and looking too cute for words" act. 9/10 times he'll win. The only exceptions are pork products, dairy, and chocolate. He's a great diet.
