"I talked to Iria; she said most universities have first-year courses intended for students who are away from home for the first time. Since most eighteen-year olds are effectively clueless about the real world, it helps them get up to speed away from mommy and daddy."

A hand went up politely.

A sigh. "Yes, Duo?"

"Well, we're not eighteen, or away from home for the first time, we haven't got any parents to miss and we've done pretty well at survival so far."
