"Later," said the blond decisively. "What we want now is something on the order of a survival course."
Four heads turned to stare at him.
"Not that kind of survival! A civilian world survival course." He plopped himself down on his companion's lap. "I talked to Iria; she said most universities have first-year courses intended for students who are away from home for the first time. Since most eighteen-year olds are effectively clueless about the real world, it helps them get up to speed away from mommy and daddy."
A hand went up politely.
A sigh. "Yes, Duo?"
"Well, we're not eighteen, or away from home for the first time, we haven't got any parents to miss and we've done pretty well at survival so far."
"Only because you like to shoot anything that moves, Maxwell," snorted Wufei.
"Hey, don't knock success!"
