I'm feeling surrounded by wildlife after spotting a coyote browsing the garbage cans yesterday, a cattle egret standing on top of my truck (and the damn bird had the nerve to fly off while I was grabbing for the camera!) and something *much* bigger than a redtail hawk eyeing the hamsters at the pool. O.o I feel like an Animal Planet program...

You know the general area where I live, right? O.O There are apartments and developments, but they're sort of bounded by wild space and golf course and the river (such as it is) and it's really critter-friendly. >_> Okay, critter-TOO-friendly, especially in the spring and fall. *glares at the migrating geese in the pool*

I haven't seen anything at the park since the deer. Except the two guys I was VERY tempted to film as they threw this big ass hunk of log straight up into a tree, trying to knock some plane/kite/something down. Came thiiiiis close to beaning themselves in the head about three times. *rolls eyes*

Nah... no kilts. And no cabers. This thing was like... a foot or so long, and probably about that around. Big enough that there would have been stitches involved if the morons had brained themselves. ^^;

I actually kind of slowed down, just to see if anything 'interesting' happened. I mean, this guy was really lofting this thing, and then they were both scrambling to get out of the way before it came thudding back down. :P
