Isn't that nifty? ^___^ Some of the feeders have little perches, but I don't know if hummers use them and I didn't know bats could hover like that. Clearly I need to refresh/research some more. ~_^

Reminds me of the little vampire bats at the zoo... they had dishes of *ahem* 'lunch' on the bottoms of the enclosures, and the bats would come down and 'walk' over and drink out of the bowl!

I only saw it the one time... well, mostly. I was glued to the glass watching the little bugger 'walk' because I TOTALLY didn't even know they could do that. But then hubby must have gotten embarrassed by the slack jawed thing, and dragged me off 'so other people could see too'. *grumbles* Never did get to see it drink...
