Productivity is good. ^___^ I'm farting with some knitting again, and put a couple of rows on since... you know... house full of teenagers and can't do much else.
Really looks like a demon cat - I hope I never see him in my drains though.
One cheap fix for a clogged drain is plain, white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. It's very safe too. The two ingredients combine to make a foam just like in the more expensive drain cleaners. I can generally pick up the peroxide in the medicine aisle - three bottles for a dollar.
Ah! I hadn't heard the peroxide/vinegar method. I was going to try baking soda and vinegar, but discovered that I'm out of baking soda. >.< Horrors! I know I have peroxide; I have three cats, you know... ^__~
Ah - you're right. It was baking soda and vinegar. I've also tried baking soda and peroxide, so I was getting the two mixed up. Another one that I've heard about is equal parts baking soda and salt.
I've already used a dishwashing machine tablet dropped into the disposal followed by hot, hot water.
With my cats, I've resorted to buying baking soda in a five pound bag since I use it under their litter.
