I don't know who to hurt first...
Feb. 8th, 2004 09:56 amMy kid or my roommate...
The kid (who is plenty old enough to know better) is being willfully stupid about doing laundry. "Oh, you mean you *didn't* want me to stuff three loads of laundry all into one dryer?" No kidding the shit isn't dry after 40 minutes...
And the roommate - on vacation last week - moved the living room around and left the mess for me to fix. The man doesn't even know how to use the vacuum, apparently.
They are both getting on my 'get away; I'll do it myself' nerve, and I hate that...
And my cat is having a nervous breakdown over the dishwasher repair guy being in the house yesterday. She freaks out whenever a stranger comes into the house; just loses her little mind.
But on the other hand, the repair guy says the dishwasher is toast and they'll get us a new one. Hell, I could have told them that last year. They've been out four times since then to 'fix' problems.
Now, if they'll just do it sometime soon... I hate washing dishes by hand. No, I'm not 'too good', I'm too tall. Standing over the sink absolutely *kills* my back. And we're paying for the dishwasher.
Yeah, I'm a grumpy dragon today. Kid needs a haircut, always a struggle... And I had to make my first truck payment AND pay my insurance this payday. Holy dwindling bank account... And my shoulder, the one the damn doctor a steroid shot in last year, is hurting again. I don't know what the hell to do now... Don't want another of those shots, but damn, this hurts!
I did have a creative snap, if anyone is still reading. Nine pages for BFB today, and five pages yesterday. Maybe it's the Co Q10...
Trowa gets to take the stage, Wufei gets to be Wufei, Jake gets an attaboy, and Heero gets... well, you'll see eventually. It's not the next part, though. Ya gotta wade through some other stuff first. But that should be interesting too. Maybe I shouldn't assume that. I find it interesting, but then I'm writing it. If I wasn't interested in my own writing, how could I expect anyone else to be?
Oh, joy. Haircut time.

Re:
Date: 2004-02-08 01:27 pm (UTC)My weekends are frequently hairpullers. I have two men in my house; the only excuse I can offer for the one I raised is that he's autistic, and he 'forgets' things. Very conveniently, if you ask me, but I can't prove otherwise. The other one... Geez, the guy is gay, but he's the biggest friggin' slob you'll ever meet. So much for stereotypes. If he would just clean up after himself, I wouldn't complain, but he just doesn't seem to see the trail of destruction he leaves behind... I, on the other hand, see it all too clearly.
I'm a crafter and a packrat, but my junk is CLEAN! His is just... indescribable. Oh look. I'm ranting again... Probably because I have to clean the stovetop before I can cook tonight. Geh...
Wufei is just so mess-with-able... Man, wait'll you see what happens to him a little farther on... I almost feel sorry for him.

oh dear lords. You live with slobs... that is... very very sad. My sympathy. No wonder you're pissed often by the state of things.
