I say we so do this- down in San Diego or LA somewhere:

Participate in tree octopus awareness marches. You can demonstrate their plight during the march by having your friends dress up as tree octopuses while you attack them in a lumber jack costume.

I am much shocked that these timid creatures are hunted by the sasquatch! I am appalled that one endangered species could stoop to hunting another! ;_; What is the world coming to?
