No fic again; sorry. RL seems determined to beat the crap outta me at the moment, and it seems to have interferred with my ability to string coherent words together.

Just wanted to reassure anyone who might be interested that Pink is almost finished and the next bit of BFB is almost there, as well. ^__^ I just need a weekend without a crisis... *glares at truck* *snarls at job* *wombats in the heat* *crawls under bed and into mine*

I know about the heat. It's as bad on this side of the country (Delaware) as the other. And we get the lovely humidity to boot. Makes you just want to lie in a cool room and not move.

And of course, when does the air conditioner in my van decide to die.

Hope things get better. Would love to have some more to read when I go on vacation next week :).

I detest humidity. I grew up in the desert; never dealt with humidity until I spent a year in NC. O.o Holy shit! 98 degrees and 95% humidity! Couldn't wait to get the hell back home. *bleh* And now we have 80% humidity and 110 degrees...

Wow. Your a/c, my transmission; the vehicle gods must be laughing at us.

If the temp will just come down... and my kid and the roommate not bug me; I might actually get some writing done. Ooooh...!

You know I hate it when the night time low is what I think the daytime high should be.

I don't know if it's lucky or not but its fair week and it always rains during fair week. I can only remember one year when it didn't. It did the other day and brought the temperature down to a 'cool' 87.
