...it didn't.

The thorn of Rena blew a breaker and quit. My check for two years of pain and suffering came. The truck I'm considering is still waiting for me. Looks like the company I'm working at likes me enough to keep me. I'll probably get broadsided by a bus tomorrow...

But if it runs a red light, I can sue! Or my heirs can...

Posted another ii kibarashi at Spandex. People read, but then they slink away silently. Probably berating themselves for wasting valuable fic-reading time reading *that*.

The only ideas that are willing to show their fuzzy little heads are for future scenes, dammit... And I have some sewing to finish, so that I can mail a Christmas present really, really early for next year.

Oddly enough, I find myself being drawn into the mystical world of nutricuticals at work. I never knew there were so many different publications aimed at the food and food supplement industry. I see the potential for learning *way* too much about what goes into my food, even the so-called 'organic' products.

Whoever first offered the thought that you're better off not knowing what goes on in a restaurant's kitchen was absolutely right. I have encountered, for the first time, the term 'non-GMO' and it fills me with anxiety. Where are the GMOs; do i eat them regularly? Am I going to glow green by this time next year? Will my cat suddenly sprout six more tails? Will they pay me more to keep quiet about it?

The hamsters have set up a whole village under my desk. The gargoyle is complacently eating two a day, like clockwork. They don't seem to mind...

'Chibi' is still under the sofa. It's eating peanut butter crackers; I can hear the crunching and smell the peanut butter. 'BFB' is now in the closet, and I don't even want to know what's going on in there... An awful lot of banging and thumping... And a shoe flew out and almost smacked the cat.

But I have four days off, so I should be able to whip them back into shape over that break. And if that doesn't work, there's always new years.

You have something that eats the hamsters, but they're still expanding? Maybe you need a village of Gargoyles? Though... they might start eyeing the cat if they run out of hamsters. ^^;
Another ii kibarashi? Don't let me forget to look that up when I get home! Or... when I get two minutes of quality time with my computer again. ~_~
I think some of your good karma might have rubbed off on me... maybe. I'm not sure how to take this; got home last night to find hubby in basement trying to eel out the drains because everything that involved water... of any type >.< was coming up in the basement.
Now before you look at me like I'm insane, he worked on it for a couple of hours before coming upstairs to look in the phone book to try calling the city about the sewer itself, but they only had a machine answering at that time of night, so he went back down to give it one more try and it worked!
So... despite the muck all over the basement floor, that's good, right? *.*

YES! Better to have muck than standing (or rising!) water. That's one of those basement things I hear about every so often, but have never had the pleasure of myself. Thank the dragons...
