“NO!”
“Wufei, come on –”
“I said NO, dammit! He’s not staying here!”
“It’s only for three days...”
“That’s what you said last time! We were five *weeks* getting rid of him! No, he is *not* staying here! He can stay in guest quarters. They’ll throw him out after three days.”
Trowa glared at his friend and roommate. “Hey, this is my home too.”
Wufei snorted. “And I’d like to keep it that way! But if Rowdy stays here again, we might *both* get evicted!”
Trowa pouted. “I don’t know why you hate him so much. He tried to be helpful when he was here... He cooked –”
Wufei’s jaw dropped in astonishment. “Trowa! That tomcat deflowered three of the neighbors! We almost got lynched!”
“That wasn’t his fault; they were flirting with him. He’s my favorite cousin, Wufei...”
“He went through *my* dresser and *my* closet! He... he *handled* my things, dammit!”
“He likes the feel of silk...”
“Not *my* underwear!”
“I’ll talk to him...”
“*NO*!!!”
“Aren’t you supposed to be controlling your temper? Why are you being so mean?”
“I’m not being mean! He was *fondling* my underwear, you idiot!”
“Come on, Wufei,” wheedled Trowa. “Please...? I’ll keep an eye on him... Please... He’s family...”
“Oh, don’t look at me like that! Not the eyes... Oh, shit...”
Huge, wobbly, emerald-green Chibi-eyes brimming with crocodile tears...
Ah, crap...
How could you fight the *eyes*, dammit?
“All right... All right... He can stay. But *only* for three days. And if he so much as *looks* at my room, I’ll kill him!”
Trowa rowled with delight. “Thanks, Wufei! You’re the best!” He loped off to call his cousin with the good news.
Wufei slumped into a chair. At least he had a few weeks before the Greasy Menace arrived. “Yeah; right. Best idiot, best fool, best sucker,” he muttered to himself. “Somebody kick me.”
