O_o Now I really feel weird... >_> One of my friends (all of two years older) preferred Kirk/Spock, but I could never see them as a couple. >.< Besides, Sulu is *still* cuter than Kirk. (sorry Shat, but it's true!)
Oh, I totally agree with you on the pairing! Sulu/Spock is very hot indeed. You were just a bit of a slash prodigy, is all -- or, more likely, I was a late bloomer. :D
George Takei = kitty! Hahaha! I'd forgotten how pretty Takei's cheekbones are. *____*
I hadn't seen much (if any) TOS when I was 13. I was slashing Kim and Paris when I was about 15, though, even if it was only in my head and I didn't even know there was a term for it. (Yeah, I'm a young-un.)
Personally, I view Spock as largely asexual. Or rather, I don't really see him in a sexual light. There are a number of characters from various series that I just can't see sexually (Kenpachi from Bleach comes to mind). I'm a Kirk/McCoy girl, anyway.
Kirk and McCoy *are* a good pair. They're both so over-the-top and almost serious, like an old married couple. ^___^ I always saw Spock as one of those quiet, deep pools. Seemingly benign, but dangerous under the surface.
George Takei is still a hot guy, even now. ^___^ I adore his commercials and apparently he is going to be in some new kid-show on... hmm... Maybe Nick? I just caught a corner of the trailer for it the other day. Somebody's holographic grandfather? ^___^ I might have to check that out.
Oooooh...! O_o That's one I never did. I don't think I paid much attention to Chekov. He always read like the bratty little brother. ^___^ Sulu would eat him alive. *snork!* Hmm... Something to contemplate....
I didn't much care for McCoy, actually. >.< He always reminded me of a particularly obnoxious relative. =P
I didn't start contemplating 3-somes or more until a few years later. ^___^ And Chekov was the one that the "little" girls liked. We 'worldly' women preferred the real men. ^___^ At least, that was what we told the little girls. *snerk!*

I love that icon. ^___^
