Salem's haircut!

The pic is kind of light, but I am incapable (it seems) of using Paint with photos and my photo editor that came with the camera was discontinued ages ago and I lost my copy in the rebuild. So, light it is. ^___^ Her lower legs and tail were left furry; you might be able to see the demarcation. She's much paler without the calico overcoat and two days out, she's beginning to feel like a fleece blanket. ^____^ I definitely will do this again.

She does seem to be less anxious. I caught her sleeping on her back today with her feet in the air; she never does that. ^____^

A friend of mine has a persian cat. She gets her shaved every spring, as soon as she's sure it's not going to have a cold snap. One unhappy cat is usually very happy soon as she gets home.

I knew she wasn't going to have the lion's mane, because she's short-haired, but I was surprised at how... sleek she looks. ^___^

I hadn't though of that. She does feel a lot like velvet or velour. ^____^

I bribed her to sit in the chair and strangely enough, she chose to stay. ^___^

Awwww... that's kinda cute! She looks sort of chuffed, like 'Look at me! Bet you guys wish you could be all buzzed too!' ^o^

She gets that look every so often, like she's suddenly realized that she's better than all the other cats in the world. ^____^

Halo licked the top of her head a few minutes ago. Just in passing, with a kind of thoughtful look. ^___^

*snicker* That must be it, because he has no problem with her.

A few minutes ago, Salem walked between Halo and Tekko and Tekko poofed up and hissed and both Salem and Halo turned to look at her. I poked her and she scuttled away. Then they looked at me, like "what?"

They're so entertaining. ^____^
