Sorry; it's a medical disability. If I don't share this stuff, my ears would turn blue and emit green smoke. This is very unhelpful during job interviews. ^___^

Baby Camel: *head tilt* *fuzzy all over*

"Love me. You know you want to."

Then he spits on you. O_o

Long ago, back in the Triassic, I rode on a camel at the county fair. It was definitely different from riding a horse and a lot higher off the ground. O_o They pace, I think, with the legs on one side moving, then the other side. It gives a kind of rocking feel. Not unpleasant, but definitely odd. ^___^ Hm... I wonder if I could try it again at the local fair? *snerk!* The camel would take one look at me and run for its life. ^___^

haha In the Triassic (I wonder if my dad is from the Cretaceous Period then XD)

They had camel at fairs? Well considering that I haven't really been to any fairs...
So camels walk like cats then? haha It sounds kind of interesting and definitely something different.

The fairs we went to always had camel and elephant rides. That was the Los Angeles County Fair at Pomona when I was a kid and more recently the San Diego County Fair at Del Mar. I'd love to get my kid on a camel for pictures, but every time I suggest it he gives me a look that says he's about to call the funny farm on me. ^___^

haha! OMG The only animal I rode on was a pony. Figures that L.A. would have something like that. I live farther North, still in Cali but an hour South of Oregon border.

Whaaaat? XD I totally would ride the camel/elephant (actually been on elephant like 10 times) and would love to have a photo. -sighs- I guess people just aren't as adventures lol ^___^

Somewhere there are pics of me and the kid on ponies at the various fairs. ^___^

The LA county fair has been billed as the largest county fair in the world; don't know if it still is, but it covers something like 440 acres, so it's big. ^___^

Ah, you're up where it actually rains. ^___^ Thank you; we appreciate the water. *snerk!*

My kid is autistic, so there are some things he just won't go for, for no discernible reason. Camel-riding is one of those things. Although... Now that I think of it, he also freaks out at the suggestion of riding one of the overhead trams at the zoo or wild animal park. Maybe it's just acrophobia. ^___^

Interesting...wouldn't be surprised that L.A. or somewhere in the US would have the largest fair. lol

haha! yes yes, I do live where it rains. It was raining all last weekend/week and now this weekend currently too. Though it was raining down there and people were like "OMFG! Rain, what do we do?" That's kind of like when it's really sunny and hot here. Though I'm excited, 'cause I'll be in L.A./Downey area next month =D YAY! Warmth <3

Ohhh, I understand now ^__^ But at least he's willing to try some things though. Should make your other half go on the camel or a friend =D
