I knew a couple who re-did their bathroom themselves - complete with gorgeous 1-inch tile on the floor, walls and up the side of the tub - and by the time they were finished, they were sleeping in separate rooms and snarling whenever their paths crossed. ^.o Took three months of counseling to smooth over the bathroom disaster. But the bathroom *was* beautiful. ^__^
And I've heard about at least half a dozen other couples who either didn't survive or came to blows. O.O And it's always bathrooms... I think it's the cramped space and the poor ventilation. ^__^
