lavandarlizard2All the dialogue ficlets and drabbles woke up my dialogue hamsters. >.< I was sort of hoping they'd sleep at least until I finished the job-hunting thing, but oh well. *shrugs* So, here we have a conversation. Of a sort. ^__^

“Would you rather go up to the office or home?”
“Home. I need to clean up. We’re having company for dinner.”
“Um... Company? Neither of us can cook right now, Wufei; are you planning to serve pizza?”
“Company’s bringing dinner.”

~Yes, hello. This is Chang Wufei – thank you; yes, it was a dreadful experience – I need a porter to the infirmary, please. Two; into town. Thank you; that’ll be fine.~ “Trowa, are you zoning out again? Get a grip, pussy cat. We’ve got some tidying up to do.”
“Wufei... who’s coming to dinner? Excuse me; who’s coming *with* dinner?”
“Rowdy. He called not long ago; he’d just heard about the shooting. He seemed... concerned.”
“Rowdy’s concerned... so he’s bringing dinner? I thought you detested Rowdy...”
“Oh, he’s not so bad, as long as he’s not living with us. Did I mention he’s bringing fish? He’s bringing fish.”
“...and we all know how much you love fish...”
“Sorry? Did you say something?”
“Just... fish sounds great.”
“He’s going to cook, so we need to tidy the kitchen.”
“Sure.”
“He wants to hear all about it.”
“Really.”
“He said I was a hero for jumping in front of Duo.”
“Yeah...”
“I hadn’t thought of it like that.”
“...of course not...”
“You know, I think Yuy owes me.”

“Well, I did save the life of his Chosen; I think that deserves a bit of debt.”

“Do I look insane to you?!”
