But that's neither here nor there at the moment. ^.~

More BFB/Lab Rat. This partlet is short; sorry. The Part doesn't have a lot of places to break and frankly, I'd like to make this last a while. One of my 'pissy dragon' traits, I'm afraid. O.O

I'll try to be on time next week; things just got suddenly weird on me yesterday. Enjoy.

Part 098c - BFB - Lab Rat

He sort of shrank into a lump, pulling in his arms, legs, head and tail until he resembled a lumpy rock sitting on the chair. Holding a fork with a piece of sausage on the tines.

"Lord Wizard Q said I had to come. Zephyrus was mad. Zephyrus is always mad," he sighed. "He hates me." He extended the fork to Wufei, who leaned forward a bit and snagged the morsel.

I looked at Trowa. He shrugged.

"Q wants to get to the bottom of this enspellment; he's not a happy Wizard."

"Heero said there was a conference call scheduled for this morning; he had to be there."

Trowa nodded. "They need to find out who might have the power and the inclination to bind a demon. It's not an easy thing to do; not every Wizard could do it, even with Farquahar."

"I'm only second level," muttered the demon. "It's not my fault."

"I didn't say it was," said Trowa with an exasperated roll of his eyes.

"Yes, Lord Puma..."

Trowa rolled his eyes again. Wufei snorted.

"Is there anything that *is* your fault, pray tell?" sneered Wufei.

"Um..." Farquahar sighed. "The swamp was my fault; I admitted that. But I didn't expect that to happen. It never happened before, so why would I think it would happen that time?" he said petulantly. "And I tried to fix it."

This time Wufei rolled his eyes. "And made it worse. Never mind." He held up a hand to forestall the demon's protest. "That's over and done with. I'd like to know why you were in Wyoming when we left you in Fresno. Hmm?"

The demon pouted... I think. "I told them I didn't want to go to Fresno; I hate Fresno.... It's so... tacky," he muttered.

Trowa lifted one eyebrow. "I don't remember anyone asking you," he pointed out. "And you certainly never voiced an opinion at the time."

"You were placed in Fresno," Wufei growled. "You were expected to stay there."

I have to agree with Farquahar- Wyoming over Fresno. *grin* Though it's been a long time since I've been- and I was prejudiced to start.

I hope they figure out who was behind all this!

*hugs* I'm always happy to see BFB!

Ok, I'm almost starting to feel sorry for Farquahar. Or... *has déjà vu moment* did I say that already? O.o 'Lord Puma' just makes me snicker. And you're killing me with the 'swamp' hints... I have soooo many ideas about that. ^^;
You doing ok? O.O

I haven't been there in a few years, but I got some reports from friends passing through more recently that did nothing to change my mind. =p

Mmmm... Eventually, all will be revealed. If I live long enough. ^__^

It's kind of hard to feel sorry for a demon, but somehow... Farquahar manages it. ~.O

Swamp? What swamp? Where? O.O I see no swamp... (shoo! get back behind that rock!)

I managed to pass by the tequila. It's been so long, I'd forgotten how expensive alcohol is, and really, I'd rather spend my meager funds on more concrete things. Like books from Amazon (nudge-nudge wink-wink *giggle*)or Skacel needles. *sigh* I have needles, hooks and yarn; who needs a fucking job, right? ^___^

*grin* I would say it was good to know that some things never change, but....

O.O You'd better! *hugs*

You just shooed a swamp. Uh... is this now a sentient swamp? O.O;

*grins at you* Yes, Amazon has many, many things. ^___~

Hey... maybe you could do fandom knitting for hire!

Um... I did? Oh. >_> Oops...?

Fandom knitting? O.O At the rate *I* knit?! Still... I do have some time on my hands....

I almost bought a set of double-points in size 35 today. O.o I reeeeeally wanted those. Why? Just because.... ^___^

We should totally keep the knitting thing in mind. I seem to recall a couple of afghans I wanted to make at one time that ended up being beyond me meager knitting abilities. Though... does knitting mess with your elbow? O.o

I was knitting at the laundromat today, and it doesn't seem to bother. It's mostly if I try to lift something the wrong direction or if I have to grip something, like opening a bottle of soda. That just kills. =p If I go to pick my purse up from the seat next to me to move it to my lap, that hurts. =p

Afghans? Hm... I haven't knitted many afghans, because they tend to get awfully unwieldy awfully fast. ^__^ But I have done a few that were two strands on size 17 needles. Don't like making panels, because some has to sew those panels together and I don't think it's going to be me. O.o That's why I pretty much stick to hats, scarves, shawls. Although, I did play with mitered squares a few years ago; those were fun, once I got the hang of them. I want to try that on big needles with two strands of yarn; bet that would make a cool afghan. ^___^

I think the biggest thing I've ever knitted was a baby afghan and the darn thing took me forever. I'd never have the staying power to tackle a full sized afghan. Maybe in pieces, but like you say... the sewing together part is a pain in the butt. ^^;
