Hm... I had a torti once upon a time. She was totally insane; liked to fight with imaginary enemies and climb the curtains. But she was also a sweetie with my kid when he was a baby.

She disappeared one day; I think a coyote took her.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat!! That would just devastate me. My friend told me about a tortie she used to have that had SUCH an attitude, she was so posessive that she would prevent visitors from even using the bathroom, and once she fought the dog for a steak she stole off my friend's plate! My own kitty is a little 14 year old tabby that practises her slug impression all the time! :-)
