The hamsters ate my (fill in the blank)

My boss left today for China. Three minutes later, all hell broke loose. People screaming, phones ringing, crisis happening; the end of the world as we know it, the sky is falling; all of that. And they thought I was kidding when I warned them...

Right out of the box today, a vendor rep left me a snotty voicemail. I have to meet this guy. I want to get close enough to reach down his throat and yank out his nuts. Then I'm going to hunt down the customer service department (yes, the WHOLE department) of a company we spend a LOT of money with, and feed them to my new gargoyle. The receiver gets homicidal whenever anything arrives from them, the accountant is developing a nervous twitch whenever he sees an invoice from them, and I'm in the middle getting migraines... And I've been there less than a month. Damn...

I now have hamsters at the office... When last seen, they were gathered around a campfire under someone's desk, roasting marshmallows and barbequing worms... The receptionist/admin asst is going to have a cow tomorrow...

Sunhawk, do you think I can teach them to roast vendors instead?

I did manage to snatch a few minutes during lunch to do some writing in my ubiquitous notebook... And wonder of wonders; I have more left over. I might actually get something ready to post before January... Why do ideas never seem to come in linear order? Or is it just me with the skipping brain?

Hmm... Kitty-puss loves me again. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the ham sandwich I'm eating... And they say *dogs* are bad about begging... If these eyes get any chibier, the whole neighborhood may melt.

I'm off to play in the bishie pool. Clothing optional.

Well, thought hamsters in general are pretty clever... but not real cooperative. ^^; I haven't managed to train any of mine to do much of anything. And Duo is still trying to get his to do the laundry. *snerk* But good luck... maybe when you put the fear of the dragon in them... ^o^
