No fic yet; maybe later. It's been an "interesting" week and we all know what "interesting" means. >_>

This is just a reminder about Reach Out And Smack Someone Day/Month. The day is August 13; the month (obviously) is August. ^.o

This is the time of year when you reach out and smack the people who have annoyed, irritated or frustrated you over the past year. ^___^

Disclaimer says: Due to possible legal ramifications, the Dragon is advocating ONLY a VIRTUAL smacking. If you in Real Life lay hands on someone - and I *do* know how hard it can be to refrain sometimes! - do not call me for bail or a lawyer! I said VIRTUAL! ~O.O~

Okay, with that out of the way, the point of ROASSD is to vent your frustration on friends, family, total strangers, politicians and those annoying people who sell door-to-door hellfire. >_> Probably mostly politicians this year, since we have an election coming. One smack per customer; the object is a quick, rising whack to the back of the head with an open hand, accompanied by a sharp, contemptuous "dumbass!" No fists, no weapons. O.O

Yes, yes, I know; where's the fun in that, especially for politicians. Point being, we don't want to put anyone in the hospital, we just want them to feel our contempt for their dumbassery over the last year. If you wish to resort to cattle prods, baseball bats or bicycle chains, you're on your own, babe. ^____^ I personally favor char-broiling, but that's beside the point.

Anyway, make your list, line 'em up and start smacking next Friday. Save the biggest/bestest/dumb-assiest for the 13th, though. I know you'll all have plenty to go round. ^____^

Sadly, this isn't really the fault of the hamsters this time... *sigh* I'm shifting storage lockers, running a load a day (or more) to get it done by the end of the month, and I think I may be heat-stressing myself. >.< It's more than half done, though, so if I can get my brain engaged this evening, I'll have fic later. ^___^ Maybe.

The storage move? The old one is a 20-mile round trip to get to; the new one is less than 3. Gotta save that gas. ^___^ And it's also about 25% cheaper. So... I will suffer for a week.
