I finally managed to get my film photos developed. My old pharmacy (where I dropped all of my processing) got sucked up by the giant CVS, so this was my first run on their processing. *sigh* Everybody has a different way of downloading the photos from disc to computer. =p I just got used to the Adobe thing for the digital and now they've discontinued it. The comes-with-XP app confuses me, so I don't play around with these things as much as I used to. What you see is what I shot. O_o And yeah, if I could afford it, I'd totally go buy something consistent and learn how to use it. I'm older than tiktaalik, though, so it takes longer for stuff to sink in. >_< Anyway.

First, a few floral arrangements. Some of the arrangements are a stretch to meet the yearly theme of the fair; this year was music.

An Obama dragon! ^___^ I do so want one of those. I'd even like the companion McCain gargoyle. ^__~

A blue-ribbon gator! My mom made something similar to this for my kid when he was little. He drug the thing around so that it finally wore out when he was about 14. ^___^

More stone garden critters and artwork.

Random female bungee jumper. She jumped because her guy was too scared. ^___^

I have another roll with more fair pics as well as some home stuff, but it's not quite finished.

Speaking of home stuff... A recent project for someone very special. ^____^

In progress...

Finished...

Detail...

And that's it for today. ^____^

What's that? Fic? Umm..... I'll have to check with the bunnies... O_o

Yay pictures! ^___^

*3*

I wonder what the Obama Dragon is made of... it's so funny! ^__^

The Necktie!Gator is wonderful, it reminds me of good old Mr. Green! ;D

...Will you take me to the fair with you next time? *chibi eyes*

ObamaDragon is probably a commercial resin-stone; it seems to be popular for this sort of piece. Looks like marble, but not fragile or expensive. ^___^

I immediately thought of Mr Green when I saw that! ^___^

Show up in late June and you're on. ^____^

For some reason it makes me think of a soap sculture! (...Although that would be impractical... xP)

Did you know that in my house you're usually referred to with the Italian equivalent of something like Mrs. Gator because of him? ^__~

I'd like to go back to Cali at some point - I really liked it there! ^__~

Mmmm... It does look a bit like soapstone... ^___^

That should be Ms Gator, btw. ^__~ What does it look like in Italian? I could go look it up but that never ends well... >_>

Yes, you do! Just think: Stanford, Cal Tech, probably someplace else I don't know about. ^___~
